Leading issues of fact and theory
Abstract
Factual and theoretical issues concerning recent U.S. immigration trends are examined with a focus on renewed interest in the subject among economists. Migration from rich and from poor countries is compared. The impact on the United States in terms of employment opportunities wages and working conditions is discussed. (ANNOTATION)
