Abstract

International migration models and policies are examined from an economists perspective. The aim of the author is to analyze the current doctrines for internal logic and consistency point out their biases and test for realism and completeness. Five distinct doctrines are noted and designated according to their access features or doors for emigration and immigration along with the respective underlying models. (EXCERPT)
