Propensity for career change among supervisors
Abstract
The "mid-life career change" that is supposed to happen around age 40 may be a myth; it seems, rather, the relationship between age and the inclination to move is negative. But job dissatisfaction is positively correlated, and the willingness to change jobs is very different between blue and white collar workers. Details of this research are explained here.
