Abstract

For the Academy of International Business (AIB) journals, the Managing Editor’s role is to coordinate the peer-review and publication processes, serving as the central point of contact among the authors, reviewers, editorial team, and publisher. This position has been centrally located with the AIB Secretariat since 2007, allowing for continuity in managing JIBS’ review and publication process even as the person in the Editor-in-Chief (EIC) role changes at the end of an editorial term.
